Opressor and Thunderlord's Decree does a good sinergy on Karma because of her CC and her typical combos are karmasoulshield.png -> AA -> karmaspiritbond.png -> AA+AA+AA -> karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png. Could be different in order, but commonly are skillshots and AA.

Deathfire Touch is not recomended because karmaheavenlywave.png does AOE damage and karmaspiritbond.png does DOT, that reduces DT's damage inflicted by half and quarter.

Another option is to change Precision for Intelligence in Cunning tree, to gain more CDR, but Karma's abilities CDR is very good without extra CDR. That will depends on what do you like.

PASSIVE: GATHERING FIRE


One of the Karma's abilities kit success resides on her passive. Karma is one of the champs that benefies a lot for being in fights. As much as Karma spams her abilities on enemy champs, she will reduce cooldown of her karmachakra.png and everybody knows that Karma's abilities with Mantra's conversion are devastating. That means Karma is better jungler while ganking than while CS on the jungle.

Q: INNER FLAME / SOULFLARE


It must be your first upgrade, because represents 80% of your damage, your main tool for easily clean jungle camps and your best innitiations with karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png. Once you get your first AP items, Soulflare will hurts a lot even in tank champs. In the mid game, a well landing 5th degree Soulflare will deal (260+60%AP) + (175+30%AP)... that's a huge damage for AD or AP carriers that hasn't HP and resistance builds. And is better that you can spam it every 40 seconds (32 seconds with 20% CDR).

In Siege Comps, karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png is really annoying. It hurts even in front lines and gives to your carriers oportunities to attack towers while Soulflare pops.

Also, Inner Flame is not just an offensive skill, but a defensive too, because of the slow effect and the fast that you can throw it.

W: FOCUS RESOLVE / RENEWAL


One of my favorite skills of the entire game. Focus Resolve doesn't deals an important damage, but its utility is priceless. In the jungle will offers low advantages against creeps, but in trades and ganks, it will be your best way to get kills and assistances.

Also, if you pick your enemy whit karmachakra.pngkarmaspiritbond.png not just will stun him, you will recover 20% of your missing HP, another 20% when Renewal pops and the stun time is increased almost twice. This skill/combination is one of the Karma's reasons to be known as "Queen of Bait". Chasing a Karma is highly probably that ends in your own death.

E: INSPIRE / DEFIANCE


A supporting ability that could help you and your teammates to snowball fast. In ganks, Inspire is pretty useful to don't let scape the enemy, to protect anyone from the damage dealt by the ganked one and to help your allies to tower dives an enemy champion and scape alive.

But the real value of Inspire comes in teamfights, when you boost your teammates with karmachakra.pngkarmasoulshield.png. It's a very smart dependant combination, because sometimes you just waste your karmachakra.png with your karmaheavenlywave.png and your enemies know it. A smart shot caller will take that in count and make your team pays a high price. That's why Defiance teaches you how to be a smart support player taking valuable decisions: could be the difference between an ACE with two of your teammates alive and taking a tower or an ACE without deaths in your team and taking the nexus.

In the jungle, Inspire will help you to take damage from the big monsters without being punished a lot and have enough HP to gank lanes.

R: MANTRA


Karma is one of the most complete mages. Has hard poke, slow, root, shield, team shield, speed booster, team speed booster, heal herself, very high movility and a passive that reduces CD of your karmachakra.png. But lacks of something: she hasn't a real ultimate. That's the price she pays for her precious Mantra... but in my opinion, who the hell needs an ultimate when has so many skills? :D

Mantra gives you pretty bonus to all your abilities to spam and, as much as you spam it, you will be able to use Mantra again.

Starting Items

    Always start with these. 3 Biscuits are better than Refillable Potion when you're cleaning your first camp.
    As soon as posible, buy Stalkers and Boots. That will very useful to do not die or to do not be punish by the creeps in the jungle.

Core Items

    First of all is to get Stalkers with Rune Echos. Then is to complete Ionians and after that, is Frost Queen. This will provide you with extra AP for Qs and Ws, 20% CDR, MovSp, Gold Passive and those two spooky ghosts that save us from Lee Sin and Rengar.
    Normal build. If things goes well, you got 2 or 3 kills in early and didn't lose objectives, your build must looks like this (Rune Echos, Ionians and FQC must be ALWAYS part of your build).
    If you rush an early Morello, then forget the Ionians and take Sorcerer's.

Situational Items

    If you are afraid of ganking a high AP damage bruiser or mage (Rumble, Cho Gath, Ekko, Viktor, Veigar), get this.
    Zhonyas works very well when you gank a high damage AD bruiser or assassin. If you gank a Talon or a Zed, they will change focus on you. Take Zhonyas and help your friend to snowball.
    This could be a very good combination on Karma but are too situational. Depends on many factors for can build it. Are you ahead with many kills? Do you have 3 drakes? Does your enemies lack of hard CC or high AP / AD damage? Remember: Karma jungler is an excellent 2nd support.
    Build this if you face a hard counter jungler that insist in stole your buffs or kill you. You can replace it in late game, when no one will be able to touch you
    Build one of these if the enemy has AOE damage that hurts a lot. Locket is always worth the price, but Banner could be useful in some situations with AP and splitpush active.
    Still a great item in Karma but not one of the best. Is a real viable item in lane, but not in the jungle.
    Never build these. There's no way for you can completely rush it and are expensive. Other items gives you a better early and mid game and are cheaper.
    Works well in clearing jungle camps, but do not offers real advantages on ganks or teamfights.
    A great situational item so you have a 2nd chance to live (or 3rd if you get Zhonyas... still, Zhonyas are better).
    Never understimate the power of HP. If you need some, take one of these. Banshee's for hard CC. Randuin's for AD carry focus.

1039.png is better than 1041.png because Karma doesn't begins as a AD based champ. The mana regen and 20 hp regret will save her even when she does solo cleaning the first camp. Furthermore, 3 2009.png are better than 2 charges of the 2031.png. Biscuits grants Karma with 450 hp + 60 mana recover while cleaning camps, that can be the difference between kill the Lizard to ensure red buff or being killed by him and the risk of the enemy jungler can take it.

BUILDING THE MAIN ITEMS

 Active: two ghosts will alert Karma of an enemy in her jungle every 60 seconds. Also help her in ganks

This build works great on Karma (not only jungler, but the other lanes too). The sinergy between 3165.png and 3151.png is popular within the Karma's users. Also, 3116.png makes Karma a little bit harder to take down, improves AP considerably and makes her skills more effective with CC. 3158.png are a really good buy because its low cost and efficiency are priceless in Karma's early game. 1402.png is pretty good at the moment of being clearing the camps. That means a lot because, if you play as Karma jungler, your oponent will want to take a counter jungler and always tries to kill you or steal buffs from your camps.

SITUATIONAL ITEMS

■ 15 magic penetration

If the enemy team has hard tanks, then you could rush 3165.png has 4th item to gain CDR and Grievous Wounds to start Siege/Poke Composition. At that point, 3158.png will doesn't be so useful as 3020.png, thanks to magic penetration improvement. I would put this boots in the core, but Karma jungler really needs the CDR that gives the Ionians and are cheaper.

■ Active: I become a cute golden statue and you can touch me for 2.5 seconds. That's enough time to my W pops, you get stunned for almost 2 seconds and I run like hell or my ally kills you.

Zhonya's Hourglass could be part of Karma's core build almost always, but I take it as situational because if all goes on well in early, rushing 3151.png3116.png will give her a considerable amount of HP and damage. I rush Zhonya's only when an assassin or bruiser like to focus on me when I gank. 91.png238.png114.png80.png they will focus on you if you gank them, that's 100% for sure.

If you are losing gold against a hard counter jungler or gives a couple of deaths in early ganks, is better for your team that you rush Zhonya's as 3rd item to stop dying in the mid game and your damage doesn't fall so much. You will do a lot of damage still but with the advantage that 238.png will not kill you anymore with his ultimate. Also, is great not just agains AD assassins or bruisers but against all those AP champions that can burst you down 100-0 very fast or kill you with a time elapsed or DOT ability 63.png82.png30.png

■ Aura: reduces magic resist of near enemies by 20

There are so many situations for you to rush Abyssal Scepter, for example, to gank 245.png82.png63.png90.png and doesn't be bursted by their damage. If your teammate is strong than you, is 100% for sure that they will focus on you if they notice that will not be able to scape. Maybe you will give a kill to your teammate, but his enemy too and the help you seek for his lane will become a problem. MagRes, debuff and AP from 3001.png will made you more fearsome against an AP carry which his best defense is to attack.

■ Passive: boost your AP to 35% more

Rabadon's Deathcape is the main item in any Karma's build, but that's in any lane where Karma is an annoying poker mage with capacity of one-shot a carry with her karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png. As jungler, Karma has to sacrifice her precious burst to give more utility to the carriers.

Even so, 3089.png is a good item in certain situations. If the enemy team is full of squishies and you were feed in early ganks, rush this item and (literally) erase them. With 3089.png, Karma could get close to 500 AP in late game what gives you 500 magic damage with a single karmaheavenlywave.png or 850 magic damage with karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png.

■ Passive: 35% magic penetration increased

If the enemy team has two or more hard tanks like 86.png14.png111.png12.png, is really viable to build Void Staff together with 3020.png3151.png, that will gives you almost 50 magic penetration (if you take hybrid penetration marks) and made you more effective to poke enemy team's frontline and ignore all of the carry's magic resist (commonly around 50 MagRes).

■ Same stats that 1402.png but with 2 consumable wards

If you don't feel confident yet, rush an early Tracker's Knife (you can sell it in late game). You will have 3 wards counting with your 3340.png. The only problem is the sacrifice of the chilling smite you have with Stalker's that steals movility from an enemy and gives it to you.

■ Passive: restores 30% of your missing mana when kills or assist
■ Passive: restores 2% of your missing mana each 5 seconds

Is a very good item for a mid laner Karma, very useful for mana sustain and spam Qs to farm in lane, but as jungler is different. You don't need an amazing stats of mana regen to clean jungle camps and gank. An early 3092.png offers you almost the same stats for mana regen and a 3165.png in mid game gives you better agressive stats, and as Karma jungler, you always will be agressive.

The best use of Karma jungler is in Siege/Poke Compositions, but the main way to counter this composition is with effective waveclearer champs, such as 112.png34.png15.png or with another siege/poke composition with stronger champs. In those cases, Locket of the Iron Solari is useful if no one team has considerable advantages (Baron buff, 3rd Drake, 5th Drake) or if you're behind the rest of teammates and enemies. Locket helps to reduce AOE damage to all your team and gives you HP, CDR, MagRes and a great shield that works perfect with your karmachakra.pngkarmasoulshield.png in case of an enemy initiation.

On the other hand, is the Banner of Command. If you have Baron or 5th Drake buff, the Banner is like to punch your enemy while is in the floor. Put the active to a Cannon Minion that has Baron buff and with Siege Composition, mades a sick destruction in towers. Your enemy team has to pay high and will be punished a lot to clear waves.

■ 250 mana
■ Passive: after using an ability, next attack will deal 75% of your base AD + 50% of your AP as magic damage

If you want to clean jungle camps fast, take Lich Bane. It's useful in a few situations too, thanks to the MS and passive that gives, but definitely, there are better items for Karma before this.

The only viable defensive items on Karma are Randuin's Omen, Banshee's Veil and Guardian Angel. But overall, there's no more viable items on Karma than AP, CDR and mana regen, take that in count. However, if you need some extra HP and resistances, build 3143.png if you're against hard AD oponents, 3102.png if facing hard AP and CC, and 3026.png if there are two or more assassins. Other tank items like 3083.png3068.png3065.png are a waste of gold in Karma. Even when you build full tank on her, she will be so weak.

If you see one, bully her as much as you can. Take care in late game if she took kills, because her full combo does really high damage.

Yes, Brand jungler is really viable and makes an awesome damage. He could counters you very easy, steals your buffs and you could do a little to stop him. In teamfights, always watch for his brandwildfire.png and counters with your karmachakra.pngkarmasoulshield.png

Easy

Easy matchup. Braum jungler tends to rush 1401.png or 1403.png. The first mades him pretty tanky and with high utility in teamfights, but affects his damage. The second, gives him pretty damage, but he will be weak in trades and ganks. However, he could do nothing if you trade with him in the jungle or in a gank, just braumE.png and scape. If he rushes 1403.png invade his jungle as much as possible. Is really easy to steal camps of a Braum jungler.

Medium

Doesn't any case to trade with Cho'Gath. He cannot kill you easily, and you never will burst him to have a kill. Also, he has more CC, sustain and tanky than you, and if he lands a full combo, he can kill you. You don't. Try to countergank him always or you will face an immortal tank in mid game.

One of the hardest matchups for Karma. She could invade you, kill you and steals all of your camps. Never trade with Diana, he eats for breakfast things like you. Diana will try to early ganks in mid and bot lanes, so pursuit her to prevent she take kills or she will be an horrible nightmare in mid game. Rush an early 3157.png because if she sees you in the lane, will launches all-in-one to kill you... and she can do it.

Actually, Dr. Mundo is pretty strong jungler. He's tank, clean fast but his ganks are not so strong. Build magic penetration but do not focus on him in teamfights.

If you play Karma jungler, a good Evelyn player will not bother on early gank lanes. She will invade your jungle and try to kill you because you are a squishy without hard CC and poor sustain, the highest advantages of Evelyn's fights. She will camp on your buffs and wait for your CS because you do a lot of time cleaning it, then she will launch all-in-one. When she attacks you, start with a single karmaheavenlywave.png to bait her evelynnW.png, then karmachakra.pngkarmaspiritbond.png + karmasoulshield.png on you and run like hell to another camp. Do not trade with her NEVER alone, she can take you down very easy.

He's not so dangerous to consider him as HARD matchup, he suffers of some weakness too. You can counter his fiddlesticksdarkwind.png with your karmasoulshield.png before the crow strikes you, you will be silenced but avoid all the damage. If he drain.png on you, you can counter with karmachakra.pngkarmaspiritbond.png and can duel pretty hard for him. Even is possible that you could kill him whit a well landing karmachakra.pngkarmaheavenlywave.png. But the difference comes in teamfights. Fiddle's crowstorm.png is tricky, he's an oportunist and could do much more damage than your karmachakra.pngkarmasoulshield.png can take.

Fiora jungler his a really hard matchup. She has her fioraq.png to counters your poor CC and turns against you, closegap, high movility, sustain and too much more damage than your karmasoulshield.png and your HP can receive. Try to always ward entries to your jungle. If you see her don't fight her. Just try to countergank her and rush an early 3157.png. If she marks you or one of your allies with fioradance.png, put your karmasoulshield.png on him and karmaspiritbond.png on Fiora.

The trickster represent a tricky matchup for you, you need fast hands on Karma's abilities and he couldn't do nothing if he fights you in the jungle or in teamfights. Poke with karmaheavenlywave.png. Your karmaspiritbond.png also has more range, as soon as he comes in your range, karmaspiritbond.png on him, he will try to fizzjump.png but a good Fizz's player has to be a good Karma's player too to know the time of karmaspiritbond.png pops and stun. Always evade his fizzmarinerdoom.png, if he lands it, karmasoulshield.png on you fast or you will receive too much damage and probably die.

Gragas can makes you suffer really hard. He has a lot of CC and damage that counters your abilities. Slow, closegap and resistances/damage booster. In teamfighst, always stand up close to the carry and supp so you can karmachakra.pngkarmasoulshield.png if he throws gragasexplosivecask.png.
