Summoner Spells Back to Top

If you would like to cheese your opponents you can potentially take Teleport over flash, however I feel this puts you at risk and does not out weigh the cons.

Masteries Back to Top

I will highly suggest you use Fervor playing Kayle. Thunderlords could probably be worked out somehow, but you can stack fervor in as little as three hits on Kayle with your E, which creates so much power.

Double Edged Sword is incredibly overpowered for Kayle because she technically is a melee champion, but attacks from range with E 99% of the time.

You can run 12 in either Cunning which I would advise going as:
Wanderer
Runic Affinity
Mericless
Dangerous Game

However I prefer running 12 Resolve because it makes the sustain in jungle amazing. You can leave your first clear from blue with full HP without a single red pot drank. Or leave from red with only one hp pot.

Maxing E on Kayle is the normal now, however the other two is a complete toss up. Personally I like having Q maxed first, with the one extra point in w in the middle. This allows for a bit more healing and speed for ganks, but also a larger slow/damage from the Q. I play aggresive so more damage is more happy. But find whichever you like/prefer and go with it, both work just fine. You can even mix and match it does not matter.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

I would never take Machete first. Take the Talisman Red or Blue it sustains you so well while you kite the mobs.
Obvious. Trade for what you need mid/late game.

Core Items

I generally do no back until i can afford these three items. However if you truly need to back early, try to get Skirm and 2x Daggers.
Complete your Bloodrazor, and then save for Stinger. This is where you start to deal massive amounts of damage and rollercoaster takes off.
Once you have the Stinger, complete your boots for the CDR, and then complete your Nashors. You now have your full 40% CDR with runes.
    The typical end build.

Situational Items

In almost every game I play now, i make a Hurricane after Nashors. The passive is amazing but thats not why. The AS and Crit combined with the two other items is insane.
Generally these are my last two items, in whichever order necessary.
If you should need more defence in your game I would suggest one of these three items as needed. Take Abyssal over Maw unless someone already has Scepter.
You see this item? Dont build it. I might be crazy, but personally I've lost faith in the rageblade. It costs so much to build at this point, and they are almost dead before the passive comes into effect. If you would like to build it regardless, go for it after Nashors. It delays your damage spike horribly unless you are so incredibly fed early.

The Real Matchup listing. Back to Top

Kayle doesn't even need a matchup listing. You should not have a problem with almost any enemy jungler outside of what that champion generally does. (i.e. Lee Sin, Udyr, Nunu, Shaco, Eve, etc )

Some difficult champions outside the group above do include:  Anything invisible, Xin, and Rammus.

 Everything else should be kiteable.
