Summoner Spells Back to Top

Standard stuff unless you are a fucking savage and think you can roll with ignite. 3/10 would not recommend teammates will rage

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

Strength of Ages is legit broken and a must take on basically every jungler right now. The 300 free health is stupid good considering it cost you 0 gold.

kindredpassive.png- Passive: Your bread and butter on Kindred. Killing enemy champions that you mark or the randomly selected(sort of) jungle buffs with the marks over them will. Killing these will make is so you deal bonus damage on hit for a % of the opponents max health. Each stack increases this by 1.25% of the targets max health and they stack infinitely (my personal record is 18 stacks). To start the game I will usually mark the enemy jungler and depending on who they are I will invade their second buff or look to counter gank level 3. Mark them as soon as the game starts so that if you go for a gank you will for sure be able to switch the mark to someone else. The mark takes a bit of time to activate so you need to time it right where you put it on enemy champs early enough that you will get a stack but not too early that you alert them you are ganking and give them enough time to get away

kindredQ.png- Q: You max this first because it has the highest ratios of any of Kindred's abilities and the shortened cooldown on it as you level it up is crucial. This ability lets Kindred leap a short distance (you are able to go over small walls, it works about just as well as Lucian E for going over walls.) If you use this ability while in your W or use your W while this ability is on cooldown it will greatly reduce the cooldown of this ability. This ability also works as an auto attack reset so you can auto-Q-auto in quick succession. Other than that there is not much to say about this ability the best thing you can do is practice with it and learn it from experience.

kindredW.png-W: I start by putting a point in this ability because it does more damage level 1 against krugs/gromp but I usually max it last. On rare occasion I will max it before E but only if I feel like I need the cooldown to be shorter for some reason. The main purpose of this ability is to lower the cooldown on your Q. While the damage is nice its nothing to call home about. If you jump over a wall to kill a buff use this ability AFTER you jump over the wall otherwise Wolf will be stuck on the other side of the wall and you will not recieve the damage from him.

kindredE.png-E: Kindred's source of CC (albeit it not a lot). Placing this on an enemy deals damage and slows and after attacking them 3 times deals a big chunk of damage. In team fights put this on the target you think you will be autoing the most to get the stacks off the fastest.

kindredR.png-R: This is what defines Kindred as a champion. You create a massive AOE area where NOBODY can go below 10% health and after a few seconds will heal everyone in the area and disappear. Knowing when to use this ability is CRUCIAL when it comes to playing Kindred. For Example: If you are fighting against a very fed enemy who you have gotten very low but he/she is about to kill and ally, DO NOT USE THIS ON BOTH OF THEM! JUST KILL THE DUDE AND LET YOUR HOMIE DIE. I CANT COUNT HOW MANY TIMES IVE SEEN KINDREDS FUCK UP AND LET THE SUPER FED ENEMY BE INVINCIBLE FOR LIKE 10 SECONDS. DONT DO DAT. Other than that this ability takes a while to get used to but after a few Kindred games you will learn when you should put it down.

Not a big fan of this item

Core Items

Your bread and butter. You will have so much damage from sated devourer that you don't need to build a whole lot of damage after that. I usually pick between Steraks and Maw based on enemy comp and only get one of the two. Phantom dancer move speed is really good with Kindred, I used to always get RFC but the nerfs to it recently have me leaning more towards PD
I usually get zerkers grieves, if not Ill grab mercs. Ninja tabi and swifties are very situational

Situational Items

Final items of your build. I usually go with BOTRK and Runaans but read the situation
Situational Last Items GA is pretty self explanatory. Experimenting with Deaths Dance not really sure how good it is on Kindred yet.
    Example Final Build 1
    Example Final Build 2

SATED DEVOURER KINDRED ENJOY IT BEFORE ITS NERFED. YOUR PASSIVE DOUBLE PROCS WITH SATED DEVOURER THIS SHIT IS LITERALLY BROKEN

But foreal I have only gotten less than 14 kills like twice with this build it is CRAZY strong.

Jungle Route Back to Top

How I play Kindred jungle is I start bot side and at krugs/gromp then proceed to your bottom side buff. After that go to river to kill the scuttler. If you are really lucky your first mark will spawn on the scuttler while you are there and chances are the enemy jungler will not be there to contest it.

Here is where some decision making comes into play.

If your mark DID spawn on the bottom scutter and you got it, if you are on blue side I like to grab raptors to hit level 3 then gank either mid or bot. This is harder to do on red side since you will have to kill wolves for level 3 and you won't have red buff for the gank. So if I am on red side unless the enemy midlaner/bot lane is very overextended I will typically move on to just kill my red buff.

If your mark DID NOT spawn on the bottom scuttler, look for where your mark is. It will typically either be on the top side scuttler or on the enemy raptor camp.

If it is on the top side scuttler you want to go there ASAP BUT! Do not cut through midlane because you are then making it obvious to the other team that is what you are doing.

If your first mark is on the enemy raptor camp, judge the matchup. If you are stronger than the enemy jungler and their midlaner is not a very strong early game champ, try to move towards the enemy raptor camp because more often than not they will not kill it on their first clear and instead go for their buff. If you are going to go for their raptor camp you must move VERY quickly because it will not take the enemy jungler/mid to figure out that you might be there

OBVIOUSLY all of this is a flexible game plan based on the situation you are in, and take it with a grain of salt and always play based on matchups. That being said getting your first mark early with Kindred is very important and will make the game a lot easier for you going forward so by following these routes you are maximizing your chances of getting your first mark
