Summoner Spells Back to Top

always go smite and flash, nothing else, if you want to climb the ranks these are your spells!

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

  • 12/18/0 masteries are generally insane for early mid and late lee sin, extra armor pen thunderlord procc early is devastating when ur ganking mid - bot or counterjungling, very useful, be wary you're not that tanky since ur not going 18 resolve points on this one.
  • if you need to be tanky because ur team picked a fairly squishy top such as riven or irelia etc, (i know irelia isn't squishy but they tend to go trinity force and a load of other damage items in solo que) then you go 18 resolve and 12 ferocity (same ferocity specc as when u go 18 cunning)
  • for resolve tanky lee you'll want to go "unyielding ofc u don't need the regen sustain since ur W gives u life steal + a fairly good shield
  • tough skin for good sustain in the jungle so you don't have to back before u got both ur buffs and have cleared the whole jungle and taken the river crab thingies!
  • runic armor to help with your W shield strenght and lifesteal potency.
  • insight, you'll want to be able to smite as often as possible if ur counterjungling a lot or need to do that one tricky smite minion hit q on enemy player and get a free kill!
  • then you go swiftness since lee sin is a highly mobile champion, he's pretty dependant on being mobile so he can close gaps even quicker.
  • and ofc strenght of the ages, 300 hp at max stacks, your team needed a tank yeah.

your W doesn't need to be maxxed early unless you have some real problems killing creeps in the jungle, early game Q and E are ur damage abilities alright, so Q priority highest damage output, second E and ult ofc and last W, if you want to be a really strong lee sin early and mid game, you have to max q and then e and ult heh, you will deal a lot of damage that way, and be able to literally finish them off with flash E if you need to.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Core Items

upgrade stalkers to warrior enchantment the one with ad ofc
if ur team has a lot of damage but barely any tanky champs, go with these early depending on what ur up against, then go maw and skip black cleaver if ur team do not need more damage
generally as lee sin ward jumping is really good for you to increase mobility and make fast plays, sightstone also provides ur entire team with a huge vision advantage, when u have the sightstone change ur trinket to oracle lense. this is a normal late game lee sin build for my games. (i generally don't get that far tho)
these items are for if you went strenght of ages masteries and slightly tankier runes. trackers knife with warrior enchantment ofc depending on the enemy team, if it's a vayne adc replace banshees veil with warmog, if there's 2 apcs in the enemy team with high damage stick with maw and banshees oracle lens trinket here as well

Situational Items

your team needs you to go damage because your top is a full tank player ur support is full tank as well and ur mid is a cc with low burst mid but good sustain damage, your adc is not a bursty champ but has a lot of peel for him or her, in this situation you have to focus on kill the priority target on the enemy team, it could be the assassin or the adc, you wont go down as easily but you have a short window to make this work.

  • Fiddlesticks

  • Graves
    Medium
  • Nidalee
    Easy

VS

Fiddlesticks

Easy

if u use ur ward jumping correctly to get out of his W heal range and go back in and skirmish him to oblivion, you are stronger early mid and late due to your high mobility and amazing gapclosers.

VS

Graves

Medium

graves is a high mobility high damage output jungler and he can kite you for days and dash from ur q early mid and late, it's better to catch him off guard when u counter gank or bring an ally but if you are at a point where u can hit almost every Q you should go for some early skirmishing against him, you'll shred him after your first back depending on what your opting for

VS

Nidalee

Easy

nidalees early game isn't strong at all against lee sin, she mite try to steal your buffs early with her spears and deep wards, but you should just go into her jungle and wait in a brush you have the advantage wherever you meet her, don't forget to Q auto Q  auot and E auto E auto auto W ward if neccessary and you've won. she will have to pop flash to escape you.

hello everyone here's some notes! Back to Top

  • so here's some info about me!
in season 3 i was a scrub that started to play ranked after getting all runepages in season 2 and it's also when i began playing but i geeked the hell out of the game, no judge :p, so in season 3 i went into rankeds for the first time ended up as silver or something i think, in the beginning i struggled a bit, but all of a sudden i took a liking to lee sin, (i had all champs so i had tried them all at least 5 times in normal games each champ)

  • And then this happened.
I started playing lee sin only in rankeds and normals and wherever i went i became really good with him read some lolking guides and youtubed lee sin videos and took a huge interest in the champion and the concept bought all skins except acolyte (going to buy it got a discount from the new shop thingie xD)

so i was playing lee sin in rankeds and then all of a sudden I had almost a 80% win ratio with just lee sin, 60'%+ ratio overall, over 300 ranked games as lee sin and i sat on a 17 win streak skipped ranks, i reached gold 3 and was matched up against diamond 5 and 3 players with plat 1 and diamond 5 players on my team (it was the best feeling ever)

now i'm back at it playing lee sin only and destroying solo/duo que as much as possible, securing early game for my team, started of as bronze 4 and currently i'm gold 4 and soon to be plat TM.

that is all! (if you want to see live lee sin gameplay in the future you can follow me on my streaming channel here's the link " Twitch.tv/DannyPain "

i hope you enjoy this guide and that it's useful to you :)
