Your Mace of Spade (Q) is your primary damage tool. You will deal ridiculous damage while maxing this skill. It's no longer just a farming/isolation tool, but now it's actually useful.


Your Harvester of Sorrow (W) will grant you a passive that allows you FULL experience from any minion you kill. On activation it will give you and an allied unit an area of effect damage aura for 4 seconds. It will increase their movement speed when running toward you, and your own toward them. Reactivating the ability when near an enemy champion/monster will deal magic damage AND heal both you and your ally.

Your Siphon of Destruction (E) is a low-cost harass/farm securing tool, it doesn't do too much until you put points into it, but it will proc on-hit spell effects (luden, rylai) allowing for chase potential versus enemies or just some extra damage when farming.

Your Children of the Grave (R) is your ultimate ability. This is an extremely powerful spell that will allow you to 1v2, 1v3, 1v4 and even 1v5 if you farm enough. Children of the Grave will steal a percent of your opponent's HP, healing you. It will then deal the rest of it's damage overtime. If the opponent is killed by Children of the Grave, Mordekaiser gains a ghost of that champion. The ghost grants Mordekaiser 25% of their bonus HP and 30% of their ability power. The ghost itself will have stats that varying on the opponent's stats when killed. The ghost will also take the champion's item effects, such as blade of the ruined king or frozen mallet. The ghost will also be able to use passive abilities from said champion. Upon damaging the DRAGON you will affect it with a debuff that when killed, will provide you with a ghost (similar to a champion). You will NOT be able to cast your ultimate (Children of the Grave) while the dragon ghost is still active. Ghost duration is increased per rank in ultimate: 45/60/75.

Starting Items

    Safe start versus any champion, good start against most ranged champions.
    Good start if you think you'll lose lane early, allows a lot of sustain from the passive alone.

Core Items

    Massive amount of burst and a movement speed passive that makes the immobile master of metal a LOT more mobile!
    AoE slow, makes up for mordekaiser's lack of crowd control.
    All very situational items that add more burst and (overall) survivability to mordekaiser.
    Good item if snowballing, offers a lot of damage and adds more dot to your ultimate.

Situational Items

    boot choice is completely situational, but generally you want any of these boots. sometimes swiftness are okay if snowballing, but these are generally always better.

The point of PvE Mordekaiser is to just farm as much as you can until you can force yourself into an early mid/late game build. The camps circled on the map belong to you. If your jungler pings you away or threatens to afk, take it anyway. That farm will be used far better on you.

What you want to do is farm the lane minions until you're pushed to the turret with their next wave at their inhibitor turret. To tell if their wave is at the inhibitor, just look at your own minions. The waves and lanes are mirrored. As soon as you shove to the tower, go and farm your side of the jungle.

After you take your opponent's tower, whether it be due to killing them, or they teleported and you took it, farm the enemy jungler's jungle. Then after farming their jungle, farm your lane and then your jungle again. And if your mid laner dies, you can even farm their lane! You just have to remember: farm comes before everything else. Do not hesitate for farm. And remember to ward deep so you will not get caught overextending.
