Summoner Spells Back to Top

You're a jungler.

Masteries Back to Top

Rumble works with a lot of mastery choices. I could see taking deathfire (consistent damage), stormraiders (keep up speedwise), thunderlords (burst), or strength of ages (tankiness). It depends on what your playstyle is. I am a low elo player and prefer damage to tankiness so I can try to solo carry the game. At higher elo I think tankiness would be preferred but #silverlife.

rumblepassive.png This passive is very important to manage. When you spam your spells you build up heat and your spells do more then the silence comes and you get bonus damage on your autoattacks. For jungle rumble overheating is great! It really helps your clear. So spam everything when clearing. For the first camp spam your q off cooldown to build up to 95 heat and then when it spawns you want to hit your q then overheat that gives you the most damage for it. After that with 2 spells its easier to keep your heat up. Do be careful when fighting champs though as the silence is annoying and can stop you from killing them.

rumbleflamethrower.png This is Rumble's main damage max first always. This will melt people once you get some damage and usually at low elo people are dumb and just stand in it. It points forward so if you run away you can't really do damage anymore. It is also your best tool to clear the jungle.

rumbleshield.png This gives Rumble sustain in the jungle and in teamfights. It also gives you a movement speed boost which is worth remembering as it can help you catch people or get away. I usually max this last but I like to get 2 points in it so the shield is a little better. If you are falling behind max this second for more sustain and tankiness.

rumblegrenade.png This is a good ganking tool and escape tool. Slows and does damage and now it's on a charge which is really nice. Pretty basic skill, hit things with it, slow them down. It also makes it easier to land your Q for a long period of time.

rumblecarpetbomb.png This ult is one of the best in the game. But it's hard to use. It's a huge aoe damage spell on a huge range. It's tricky to cast you click for the start then again for the end. This helps you gank as it has a slow and does a ton of damage. It also can zone people away from it so you can force them into bad positions or make them take a ton of damage. It works best in jungle fights where people are more forced into tighter spaces, but can be used to great effect in fights anywhere.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

This is the best start for rumble despite the mana stuff that's useless it gives you more health than the lifesteal will.

Core Items

Either of these are good either for better ganks or some vision control, depends on your play style.
Get these. Magic pen is rumble's best friend and really ramps up your damage on the squishy champs. At low elo lots of people seem to forget mr exists in this game so they just don't build it. We kill those people :)
All three are good to get for tankiness, and their passives and active. What order to get them depends on the matchup and who is doing well after you get your core.
Haunting guise is good to get early and then get liandrys when you can. The passive on it is good and works really well with your ult and q but the magic pen is the real reason to get it.
    If they are building mr
Great item on him to initiate. Get this first (after runic echos) in most matchups

Situational Items

All of these (or any other tank item) could fit into a build for extra tankiness. But you aren't a tank so only get one you need damage and survivability. And there are lots of items that give you a good mix of that.

When to pick Rumble and Tricks Back to Top

Rumble is an AP damage dealer. Rumble can work very well but you do still need a tank and your team shouldn't be all magic damage so if your team needs ad or tankiness don't pick rumble.

Rumble has a great clear speed and can farm really easily. Rumble doesn't have the best ganks though but he can have amazing counterganks if you can keep up with the enemy jungler. 1v1 he does pretty well in jungle fights you can unload all your spells and then you overheat and get autoattacks that deal tons of damage. If you fall behind though you struggle a lot as any damage jungler does. Tanks are safer as you just keep building tanky. Damage dealers if you don't do damage you are useless.

This last tip is true for all junglers. Your job is to try to snowball lanes. That means if you are winning 2 lanes and losing 1 trying to increase your lead in those 2 is more helpful than trying to get the losing lane a kill. If you gank a losing lane early that can be really good. But if your top laner lets say has fed 3 kills and the enemy has an item on him now or something it's not worth it for you to go top you'll probably die. Try to either get to the lane earlier to help get them back in the game (this will make you more friends) or just focus your attentions on what you can win and tell them to play safe. BE NICE ABOUT THIS if you're a dick people might afk. But it is in the best interest of the team to win lanes and push towers as opposed to trying to get one lane slightly closer to tied with his lane.

As a jungler make sure to always stay objective focused. So often you see the jungler come in get a kill and then leave. But once you get the kill, push the tower, or take dragon or rift, etc. Use your kills to extend the lead.
