VS

Aatrox
Easy
Accidentally put aatrox here. Aatrox is a meme champion you can just dump him.
VS

Elise
Hard
Elise is actually pretty difficult for AP Shaco just in the sense that she can stun and 1shot you before you can react. She, like graves, clears the jungle without taking any damage whatsoever, so be mindful of that as well. Best way to beat elise is by warding around midlane and looking for counterganks. You very rarely win even 1v1s because her projectiles are very fast (therefore difficult to dodge) and her spiderling (W) is very hard to shake. Try to confuse her with your clone and get her to blow it up on herself/her spiderlings.
VS

Gragas
Easy
Gragas is pretty easy for a shaco who is comfortable with his Q and R. He is usually not full hp during pre-runic clears and has to blow CDs to farm camps, so you can easily catch him out. If you are on purple side, look to start red then run to his blue to steal easily. He is also fairly squishy before he buys a tank item and stacks SoTA a bit.
VS

Graves
Medium
Graves is fairly equal on the annoying scale, but you can outpressure him in lanes early on. If you can get runic + hextech before he gets too stacked on SoTA and you can stay within a level of him, you will be able to beat him in 1v1s. Graves also will not be doing anything to peel you off important targets when you're fighting and is susceptible to box stacking.
VS

Hecarim
Easy
Hecarim can never 1v1 you and his 1st clear is garbage. Find out where he starts, hit lv 3, and destroy him. Dont give him any chances to get back into the game because he will. 1 solo kill and 1 countergank will be the end of hecarim.
VS

Kha'Zix
Medium
I rate kha only as a medium because if he dumps on your team you're probably screwed. Don't mess with kha until 6 unless you see he's low. You won't win unless you have clone to remove isolation damage.
VS

Lee Sin
Medium
Dodge his Qs and you win every time. Lee is easy to lv 2 or lv 3 and pretty much free past 6. Put down wards around mid and countergank him whenever you see him.
VS

Nidalee
Medium
Nidalee is annoying as hell and unstoppable if she gets ahead, but if you play it right, you can prevent her from doing anything. First and foremost, CHALLENGE HER BLUE EVERY GAME. 1st blue allows her to survive by constantly healing herself, no blue = no heals. A nid without blue will fall 1-2 lvs behind you guaranteed. Remember, a Nidalee must be 2 lvs ahead to be even with you in usefulness. If you can put her behind, do not relent on the pressure or she will come back. Take everything you can from her.
VS

Rek'Sai
Hard
This champ is annoying as hell. Outclears, outduels, sees you all the time, tanks out, and generally just dumps all over you. Just pray shes bad. If she's unskilled, you may be able to catch her in the river and beat her up over scuttle. Otherwise, your only hope is to catch her botching a gank and get a lead off that.
VS

Rengar
Medium
see: Kha'zix notes. Very similar matchup though rengar's a bit more invade-able early. Keep in mind, most rengars will do the valkrin lv 6 clear path, so become familiar with where he ends up at what times. Rengar also gets very low on his 1st clear and is susceptible to boxes late.
VS

Zac
Medium
Deep ward him. Beating zac comes down to who counterganks who.
Early Game Back to Top
I tend to like to start blue side. 2 boxes gromp, 2 boxes at the tip of the blue bush (closest to side lane). If no leash, tank first hit from gromp, then change aggro to boxes and smite. Once you finish gromp, place a box behind blue and start. Tank 1 hit then aggro to the single box. Nake sure to hug the wall near the boxes when kiting the buff back. Kite blue to the 2 boxes and aggro it to closest box. Next do the wolves, large one first, box right in front of large wolf. Box should come off CD before you finish the camp, hit the last small one 1 time then box in front of its path.
Mid Game/Group Phase Back to Top
During mid game, you should look to either make picks or siege. AP Shaco is a very strong poker but can also set up picks by instantly popping a carry. Put down boxes in popular flanks and escape routes, these will save lives and are very important! Avoid the "illuminati box" setup unless the enemy team has virtually no aoe or you have a team that thrives in choke points. It's too risky for almost no reward. It's not bad to setup 3 in 1 spot vs dive champs like ekko/reng/kha, but thats about it. Always make sure to ping out your boxes and alert your team to their presence, they act as an emergency exit and can be used for remote peeling.
