Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png This is the most overpowered Summoner Spell out there at the moment, i am surprised Riot hasn't locked the first spell to this it's that good.

6.png I have seen Ghost on some players that love to make sure that you cant escape. (But then you cant hop walls nor Flash-Chomp people)

11.png ... Nothing needs to be said here, if you don't take this .. blah .. blah .. blah something something, you Noob.

Masteries Back to Top

First things first. my Masteries are Experimental at the moment as i find trundle doesn't need any specific Mastery Build to succeed which i find is awesome.

So this is what i am currently using.

Ferocity Tree.

Fury > Sorcery:

More Attack Speed = More procs on Machete (been curios to try the Sorcery though to see how much more dmg i can get out of Chomp)

Double Edged Sword > Feast - Expose Weakness:

I love the Extra 3% damage being the Monster that i normally play this Mastery makes you worse >;)
If you want to play the Major Tank of the Team and Engage a lot, then i would take Expose Weakness instead, because with the D.E.Sword you will be ripped apart if their team decides to for some reason focus the Tank :/

Vamperism > Natural Talent:

WTF RITO! Natural Talent is the worst Mastery i have seen since Season 3... seriously an extra Half AD and 1 AP every Lvl, ending in 10 AD and 15 AP at lvl 18.... you needed that kind of crap at lvl 2 or 3.  (Rant over)

I like Vampirism for the Sustain in the jungle and Trundle even make good use of the Spell Vamp part with his Chomp trundleQ.png

Bounty Hunter < Oppressor:

Now when it comes to these two i feel it is completely your choice, Trundle can easily walk around the Rift eating EVERYONE Tanks, ADC's etc. the whole shebang. So Bounty Hunter would give you an extra 5% Damage at around Lvl 9-10 ish
My preference though is taking Oppressor as trundle has a crap-ton of slowing with his Chomps trundleQ.png and his Pillers trundleE.png so you get that extra 2.5% Damage nearly all the time.

Battering Blows < Piercing Thoughts:

Now this one is pretty much self explained, unless you want your Ulti trundleR.png to be the only thing evading a bit of resistance then go for it...

Warlords Bloodlust > Fervor of Battle - Deathfire Touch:

I seem to be trying all of these The Bloodlust felt a little unhelpful when i used it so now im on Fervor, i mean you are bashing the foe a lot and with auto attack resets on trundleQ.png you stack it pretty damn fast (Remember that you stack double time because you are a Melee champion)

So when you think about this you are getting an extra 7 AD on your basic attacks at Lvl 1 and a whopping 112 bonus AD on your attacks at Lvl 18 (At max stacks of Fervor) and with your reset you get max stacks in about 2-3 seconds.. crazy right.

Resolve Tree.

Recovery < Unyielding:

This one i feel it's your choice, but i build Tanky items a lot of the time and grab an Iceborn almost every game so, yeah. I prefer Unyielding.

Explorer > Tough Skin:

I take Explorer because Trundle is a pro at taking on the Jungle with little effort, you don't need Tough Skin. Trundle already has that ¬.¬

Runic Armor > Veteran's Scars:

Runic Armor is trundles Dream, mixed with his Passive, Ulti, Vamping on your Q's, Lifestealing with basic attacks and boosted with your W trundleW.png for even more effect.. yeah, you get the point.
The Scars... pfft Trundle has those already too.

Insight > Perseverance:

Trundle regens plenty, but getting those Smites more often and Flashing more is more fun.
if you take Lucidity Boots with Distortion on them you can get your Flash down to nearly HALF it's Cooldown, Flashing Twice as much as other players. NICE!

Why not take Grasp of the Undying Mastery: (LoLMaths Ahead Warning)

I have tried this Mastery out a couple of times and even done some Maths for it, at best a 1v1 fight takes at most 8 seconds long on Average. In this time you get this passive once maybe twice, now assuming you are building Tanky and say you are Lvl 13-14, you have about 2,000 to 3,000 HP depending on what you are building and how well you are doing.
Now at 2,000 HP you will be hitting/stealing 50 HP from your target
at 3,000 that is 75 HP Damage...
This hardly seems worth it :/

Now with the Fervor of Battle Mastery at the same Lvl (13-14)
does about a bonus 10 Damage per stack, now remember you get 2 Stacks per Melee hit and 2 for an Ability
so by the time you have done Trundles usual AA - Q attack reset combo you have 6 Stacks

So you now have 60 bonus ad as long as you are still hitting them
forgetting that you already had the first 2 stacks buffing your Q with more damage.

Then your next AA gives you your last 2 Stacks making it 80 bonus Damage on hit

And as your W is up you are Bashing away and then more Q's.. you see where i'm going with this.

Fervor of Battle to me... is WAY Stronger than Grasp of the Undying.

Pretty Straight forewords here

trundleQ.png Chomp is Trundles -Bread and Butter- it resets his Auto's and give him bonus AD, it is his primary Damage output, i max this first ALWAYS!

trundleW.png Frozen Domain is such a nice ability, you can Run Away with it, Chase with it and Fight harder in it. i max this second.

trundleE.png Pillar of Ice is your CC tool. putting it in front of a running enemy is the best way to use it, but when you become more adept with Trundle then you will learn to use it as a knock-up by placing it on the champ but just slightly before them, so that when they get knocked up they also get knocked the way you want them to go.

trundleR.png Subjugate is a nasty skill, i tend to use it when i am chasing and i can't quite get that last hit on someone as it is his only ranged damage.
When you engage a team-fight ALWAYS use this on their Tank as it 'Steals' HP, Armor and MR making you tankyer... and them not so much.

trundlepassive.png King's Tribute is pretty straight forward, the only real using part of it is to make sure to fight opponents in Minion Waves. Like Swain he gains life in Waves = Sustaining just by being there near the Minions.
(It's also really funny when the Baron/Dragon dies near you, as your HP pretty much fills itself back up)

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

This is my first grab, i always choose 3x Pots over the Refillable because Trundle don't need more Pots after First Clear. but your choice
I have Tried the Cinderhulk Many Times but it always feels lacking, so i take Warriors every time.
It is completely up to you. -Skirmisher's- if you are struggling against a hard carry Mid/Top. -Stalker's- if you want a tad more Damage or even a slight Gap Closer. -Tracker's- If you think you can do without either of them. (Wards do win games)
TAKE ONE ALWAYS (All Five Players should have 1 of these sat in Key positions on the map at ALL times, Wards win games.)

Core Items

These are pretty much my Core, i don't always take them all because it depends on the situation. SV for MR, Iceborn for Armor and Hydra for Damage. 1 or 2 of these items always make it into my Build
Both of these work great, brilliant for Splitting and great damage. but i only take the Titanic if i need to be more Tanky at the same time my team seems to lack Damage :/
Yes i do take these sometimes, but ONLY if you are doing so well and they can't seem to kill you anyways.
    Need more Armor?
    Need more Magic Resistance?
Just want a Ton of HP? or be harder to kill?
I don't really get this item because i already take the Thornmail for heavy Ad's and the Iceborne is often in my Items already.
Boots are highly situational, Are they Auto Attacking a lot? are the Supp and Mid hitting hard in Damage/CC? And sometimes i want more speed or CDR. It's up to you.

Situational Items

If they have a nasty Tank then you will need this, sometimes even if your team has one :/
I take this in quite a few games. the condition being if they have 3 or more AD's Eg. -Darius Top -Lee Sin Jungle -Adc Bot.
i only take this Item when i want to carry or hurt more but still survive that damn Mid Mage. Works kind of like the Sterek's but for against mages
