Summoner Spells Back to Top

6.png = more mobility for better positioning or catch potential

1.png = helps a lot vs crowd control teams or junglers

12.png = global pressure, experience lead, objective play

3.png = good to survive against assassins, burst damage or just to keep enemies out of range

14.png = i do not recommend you to play ignite on Twisted Fate because it's just not his playstyle. Well you can chose it to get more pressure against control mages like Azir.
4.png = Well you should always use this summoner spell playing Twisted Fate ♥.

Masteries Back to Top

Ferocity: 12

Sorcery = more spell damage
Fresh Blood = As TF you basic attack enemies very often so you should take this
Natural Talent = aditional Hybrid scaling
Battle Trance = best choice for me here because it is a perfect allrounder. Aditional Damage dealt to you by Double                          Edged Sword when you do already play a weak champion is not beneficial. Bounty Hunter needs                                too much effort to reach its maximum level you need a perfect game to get use of it. I don't like it.

Cunning: 18

Savagery = comfortable laning phase, easier last hitting
Secret Stash = bonus mana restore, great health regeneration
Merciless = Incresed burst potential and to finish up enemies
Dangerous game = restores essential ressources
Precision = stronger poke and burst in lategame. Its was TF is about :)
Thunderlord's Decree = Best keystone to improve Twisted Fate's trades while laning phase and overall burst potential.

Resolve: 0

Twisted Fate's pickacard.png is one of the best level 1 abilities in league of legends. You chose it because it gives great flexbility of usage.

You max wildcards.png first and pickacard.png second.

In the laning Section i explain more details.
Look it up below.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Core Items

    Full Equip 1
    Full Equip 2

Situational Items

    Big lead
    Defensive options + bonus kiting
    Sustain
Great option if you need CDR and Mana regen
Gives more range for W. Doesn't give any good stats though

There are 2 Items that are essential on Twisted Fate: 3100.png3285.png > Poke and Burst

Here you can see my favourite way to buy items.

1056.png2009.png2009.png > 3020.png3057.png1056.png > 3100.png3285.png > 3157.png3135.png3089.png

You should buy items to play easier against the enemy team. Twisted Fate's Equip is very situational except these 2 of course 3100.png3285.png .

God of solo Queue ♦ Back to Top

Twisted Fate needs a lot of practice but the reward is very high. With this champion u lead the team's direction and decide games by your own. Thats why TF is perma baned in Korea. They respect it's global as well as objective pressure and guaranteed Crowd control with low cooldown and high stun time.

Twisted Fate has a great poke wildcards.png and insane burst pickacard.pngcardmasterstack.png potential
because he scales very well with items
3100.png3285.png

A single overextend in the enemy team can develop to multiple kills for Twisted Fate and his team destiny.png.
You can be sure this leads into some objective captures.

TF is a pretty good pick overall. You want to avoid losing matchups in mid but pressure the sidelanes enourmous.

As Twisted Fate it is your job to set up ganks by pickacard.png gold card. Don't make it too obvious though.
If you duoQ with a jungler this can give you a big lead.

For soloQ i rate TF 9/10 points.

One point missing because he is a little weak and needs practice.

Laning ♥ Back to Top

The laning phase is not really in your favour because you don't have the abilites to deal tons of damage in early game. Try to find a balance between wildcards.png waveclear/poke and mana restore by pickacard.png blue card.

Look for short trades especially when the enemy used some abilities to farm. Can work out very well when your cardmasterstack.png is active. If your lane opponent's pressure is too high give up some creeps and stay defensive.
If Twisted Fate doesn't want to fight he doesn't necessarily have to. He can farm well from distance by using his wildcards.png.
Its not that bad to lose some creeps because he gets aditional gold from his passive twistedfatepassive.png
You want to fight when the jungler is near.

There are two different types of matchups you can face in midlane in some you want to push and in some you don't want to:

VS Assassins/High burst
Here you want to be pushed in the tower so you can farm safe. It is better to lose some creeps instead getting ganked or snowballed by the enemies. It also allows your jungler to position better for a gank to help you out a bit.

VS Control Mage
In this matchup you should try to get an advantage by pushing them into the turret to make them lose creeps and spend mana to farm.

Work together with your jungler, because you can set up ganks easily and roam together. pickacard.pngdestiny.png

Teamfight ♣ Back to Top

Sometimes you can be the initiator so if you see someone out of position you can just destiny.png and pickacard.png gold card him to make a pick.

You can also look for a flank because you can deal much damage to multiple targets or stun an important target.
For moves like this it is helpful to buy a 3157.png or 3026.png .

Another way to teamfight as TF is to peel with many pickacard.png gold cards for the AD Carry. This situation can be for example when the enemy team is doing the engage. You keep the enemy frontline busy so your team can finish them up and you will win the teamfight after.

Just repeat picking your pickacard.png gold Card make short trades, and start kiting again.
