Summoner Spells Back to Top

Ghost - is probably your best bet considering ghost gives him the best ability to chase down enemies with his ult.

Flash - always a useful spell when playing League because it can help you get out of sticky situations by falshing over a wall or doing so to give yourself distance between you and the enemy.

Masteries Back to Top

Wanderer - Obviously you're gonna want movement speed when playing Warwick, not just for his chase but for his mobility as a jungler.

Runic Affinity - Your basic jungler mastery that gives you more longer lasting buffs in the jungle.

Merciless - Warwick begins to attack faster when champions are below 50% health, so adding on the ability to do more damage below 40% health is a very useful tool.

Greenfathers Gift or Dangerous Game - Either one of these could be useful on Warwick, Greenfathers Gift gives him the ability to do more damage by walking through a bush as he is coming in for a gank.
Dangerous game restores his health and mana upon kill and since with Warwick your main priority is to go around the enemy team and strike out the biggest threat with an attempt at a guaranteed kill, restoring your health and mana would provide you a better ability to continue fighting if your team is engaged.

Fury - The guy loves attack speed, easily more so than AP, so no much to say on this one because you just obviously go Fury.

Fresh blood - This mastery gives you an extra damage boost when attacking a enemy champion every 6 seconds, its not the most useful mastery but its better than the other 2 on the likes of Warwick.

Vampirism - An easy choice for Warwick considering the guy is all about life stealing and not dying, this just amps it up a bit.

Battle Trance - Given that when Warwick is in combat with people he gains these buffs over time that increase his ability to 1v1 such as bonus attack speed when the enemy is below 50% and bonus life steal and magic damage from his passive when hes below 50% so it only makes sense to buff that up by giving him some damage when in combat for 5 seconds.

Battering Blows - Armor penetration because Warwick is an AD damage dealer, not much else to say.

Fervor of Battle - Now this one is pretty simple because it gives Warwick the ability to do more damage every consecutive attack and stacks up to 8 times giving him the ability to deal more damage and it can stack pretty fast when an enemy champion is below 50% health.
You could also go Warlords if you really wanted to because it gives Warwick life steal based on his missing health against champions and minions so the lower he gets he gains more life steal from both Warlords and when below 50% health also from his passive.

Q - Maxing this first is your priority because its his main source of healing and damage when it comes to his abilities, being able to chunk your enemies for lots of damage and 10% of their maximum health, while healing yourself for a large % of damage dealt is a dangerous ability to have so maxing this is a must.

W - The next ability you max that gives him huge bonus attack speed and movement speed when fighting enemies including minions, monsters, and champion below 50% health, only when moving in the direction of an enemy champion that is below 50% health is when you get the movement speed buff, sensing someone below 50% health is a global ability too so you could be bot and someone top could be below 50% giving you the ability to chase them with a movement speed buff from your W all the way from bot to top.

E - The last ability you max giving yourself a huge durability spike when activated that prevents you from taking a huge amount of incoming damage from enemies, it last 2.5 seconds and at the end of this active it gives you an AOE fear that last 1 second. The reason you max this last is because maxing your W second it gains more use than maxing this second.

R - The ability that terrifies your enemies. Your ult gives you a lunge that hits the first enemy it comes in contact with and if it misses than you are launched where ever you pointed. This ult gives you the ability to lock down an enemy and strike away at them for AD damage.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Standard starting item in the jungle, gives him better life stealing capabilities when facing monsters in the early game of the jungle than Hunters Tailsman does, No need for potions because dying as warwick in the jungle is near impossible.
Chilling Smite is the best option because it gives him movement speed that he steals from enemy champions in which case also slows them by 20% adding more on to warwicks ability to chase his enemy.

Core Items

Bloodrazor used to be the go to item for warwick but in this rework straight damage is pretty deadly, also giving him a 10% cooldown reduction on his abilities.
this is the main item you want to build on warwick, it gives him everything he desires, movement speed, attack speed, damage, health, mana, cooldown reduction, and most of all Spellblade damage because his Q applies on hit affects and heals for 70% of the damage with max points in it.
Even though warwick got reworked, still one of the best items on warwick, given that its active chunks the enemy for 10% of their maximum health and gives him 25% of their movement speed it gives him more mobility to strike down his enemies with his ult, it also gives him attack speed, life steal, and damage that warwick craves.
Another great item on Warwick, gives him more durability when facing AD enemies, also gives him more health, but most importantly is its passive that gives warwick more mobility to chase down enemies with his ult, and when at max stacks its damage can proc with warwick Q.
Now you can build this or maw but i believe this is certainly the better item, first it gives him more damage and magic resist, it gives him bonus mobility out of combat that helps him chase down his enemies, some lethality, and most of all its active that he can use before ulting to prevent it from being stopped.
either of these boots can be built to add on to warwicks durability.
