Summoner Spells Back to Top

The basic summoner spells for Ashe would be 21.png and 4.png.

1.png can be picked up if their team has a lot of cc lock down. eg. lissandra, malz etc.
6.png can also be picked up if you prefer it over flash, I do think 4.png is better for escaping over walls but 6.png can allow you to kite more effectively but ashe doesn't have any blinks like other adc's which is one of her biggest weaknesses therefore 4.png is probably the best choice.

Runes Back to Top

  • 9x
+0.95 attack damage Greater Mark of Attack Damage
  • 9x
+1.28 armor penetration Greater Mark of Armor Penetration
  • 9x
+0.16 magic resist per level Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
  • 9x
+1 armor Greater Seal of Armor
  • 3x
+2.56 armor penetration Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetration
  • 3x
+1.5% Life Steal. Greater Quintessence of Life Steal

So Genja likes to go full armour pen Marks and Quintessences because he likes his W to deal the most damage it can.

Another more normal build is to go for physical damage Marks and life steal Quintessences which will allow you to sustain in lane and last hit easier. This is the best option for most players but if you are confident in your laning and last hitting then you could opt for Genja's preferred build but it seems like it could be very weak early game.

Utility: 0

So these are one of Genja's mastery pages for ashe. you see he opts to go with 21 in offence giving him good damage and penetration as well as giving him those crit chance boosts.

He takes 2 points into the defensive tree to give him some extra late game hp scaling.
He then picks up 7 points in utility giving him a reduced cd on 4.pngwhich is essential for ashe because she doesn't have any escapes.

Max W first for extra damage output.

Q is maxed next for a stronger slow allowing ashe to chase/kite more effectively.

Make sure you pick up the point in E at lvl 4 which gives you a 60cd CV.
This is commonly looked over but can actually give good vision if one of your wards time out or if you chase the enemy into the brush, or if you suspect a possible gank and can also give vision of a objective like dragon or baron that they cannot use oracles to remove.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Genja usually builds 1-3 dorans blades depending on how hard the laning is, if you feel squishy in lane then you can get 2-3
Recently in the LCS Genja rushed a Tear at the start. this allowed him to spam skills and barely run out of mana, this made his poke a lot more consistent. If you can pick this up early on then you can begin it stack it early, you can use your Q to stack it effectively while farming.

Core Items

Genja usually doesn't build any attack speed on Ashe because he prefers his W to do a lot of poke damage, this also re-explains why he prefer to get mainly armour penetration runes.
Genja rushed this item first in the LCS so he can quickly stack the passive on it for late game which then becomes a very strong item once you can use the active.

Situational Items

Sometimes Genja rushes this item as his 3rd-4th major item because he doesnt get the peel from his team therefore it is needed for him to stay alive
A normally built item on ashe but this isnt what Genja prefers with his poke/kiting playstyle. I still recommend this item because the attack speed increases your dps, the crit chance works very very well with infinity edge and the movement speed allows you to kite that little bit easier. This will although reduce your poke
This could be picked up if the enemy has a lot of hard cc which will lock you down.

Genja usually builds damage items and rarely builds attack speed on all of his champions. This is because he will be kitting most of the time and peeling for himself therefore he doesn't really need the attack speed.

As well as this Genja also stated that he prefers the damage so he can deal more damage on his W which he will use to poke with his nearly unlimited mana from the manamune.

This all damage build does work quite affectively because in late game he can be critting up to 900-1200HP on low-medium armour targets.
